About
Faye Tagen (b. 2001) makes paintings and sculptures that explore the themes of
spirituality, healing, and shared humanity. In her work, nameless figures and soft,
radiant colors are presented to viewers, creating visual narratives that are both
tranquil and meditative. In an attempt to create a haven for herself and her viewers,
Faye wants her work to allow love, rest, and healing to happen.
Born in San Francisco and raised in Taiwan, Faye received her BFA at California
College of the Arts, majoring in Individualized Studies with a focus in painting,
sculpture, and installation. Her work has been exhibited in San Francisco and
Berkeley, and she currently resides in Berkeley.
